PRE-TRIP INSPECTION

Check under the motorcycle on approach for obvious leaks, obstructions, etc.

Check for damage, preferably from top to bottom, from left to right, while moving in an anti-clockwise direction.

Check front wheel for tread depth, wear and damage, sidewall damage, inflation, valve cap, spokes wheel hub, oil and grease leakage (visual inspection only)

Check front disc for wear (if possible)

Check front shocks/forks for damage, security and oil leakage.

Check front mudguard for damage and security.

Check left front indicator for damage, cleanliness and security.

Check controls cables on left side of handle bar.

Check fuel valve for leakage.

Check gear lever and left front footpeg for damage.

Check left rear footpeg, chain guard, chain (tension) exhaust and shock for damage and security.

Check left rear indicator for damage, cleanliness and security.

Check rear light, number plate for damage.

Check rear wheel as described in item 3.

Check right rear indicator.

Check right side of wheel as described in item 3.

Check rear shock.

Check rear brake (wheel) and footpeg

Check exhaust for security.

Check carburetor and enjin for petrol and oil leaks.

Check rear brake and front footpeg.

Check right front indicator.

Check shock.

Check tyre and rim for damage.

Check license

Check fuel cap seals (on tank).
